2,800 Cups Later, Was It Worth It?
When we brought home the Jura Z10 back in September 2022, I figured it would be a fun splurge. In fact, it came with a deal: my wife agreed to cut back on her daily pilgrimages to the green mermaid coffee shop if we invested in a machine that could handle everything at home. (Spoiler: she still goes, but at least one of us is saving money.)
For me, I still occasionally swing by Dunkin’ if I’m out and about, it’s what I grew up on, and they make a mean Arnold Palmer (1/2 sweet tea, 1/2 lemonade for those not in the know), something out of the Z10’s wheelhouse. The Z10 is basically the Swiss Army knife of coffee machines. Coffee Variety Tested
We’ve run just about everything through this machine, here are a new notable roasts:

The Z10 handles them all beautifully, adjusting grind and extraction to bring out the best in each roast.
The Verdict After 2,800 Drinks
The Jura Z10 isn’t cheap, but it’s earned its spot on our counter. It’s consistent, versatile, and makes coffee that rivals what you’d pay $6 for at a café. The only real downside is the proprietary filter system, but considering the convenience and quality, it’s a trade‑off I can live with.
Would I buy it again? Absolutely. In fact, we first discovered Jura through a friend’s machine (a different model), and that’s what sold us on the brand. Not everyone needs the Z10’s cold brew functionality, but Jura has options at different price points, and they all brew exceptional coffee.

For me, 2,800 drinks in three years might not sound like a lot, but when you realize almost all of them were mine, it tells you how much I rely on this machine.
