Now things are starting to take shape. I decided to skim coat all the walls since a good part of the bathroom had new drywall or a badly done mud job and I figured this way I would have a uniform surface to paint on.
Here are the walls after a nice skim coat.
Then after a fresh coat of primer…
...and paint. I only painted the top part of the walls since I was putting up beadboard.
Finally the beadboard. Also notice the new tiles in the corner. I was able to find replacements and although they are a little darker it doesn’t look too bad. Most of them will be hidden anyway but since they are only .63 each it was cheap to do and make sure I didn’t have any surprises after the new vanity goes in place.
Well that brings me up todate on the bathroom. I did install a new 6 panel door but I don’t have photos of that. This weekend was spent building the new vanity and picking up crown moulding for the room. I’m hoping to be almost complete by next weekend.

It/s looking a lot better than when you began this project. Nice to see the tacky wallpaper replaced with a soft tone that works well with the beadboard.
